"Out & About" Trips
This is a Co-op Funded project where we organise "Out & About" trips out to a wide variety of places, such as Blackpool Illuminations, Harrogate Flower show, the theatre and shopping centres.
These trips provide valuable opportunities for people who may be vulnerable to get out of their homes and allow safe, social interaction. As our business grows we are trying to support more local groups on their trips.
Our CEO Peter Hancock has said
“As our service continues to grow we are seeing a lot more bookings...people are social animals and there is evidence that social isolation leaves people struggling to cope...our service is a real lifeline for people who struggle to get out and about...”

The pick-up points are -

Mytholmroyd
Hebden Bridge
Todmorden
We pick up between 10am and 11am, and return around 3pm.
The trips cost £10.00 per person and are payable to your driver on the day.
